Terms of Service

1. Eligibility and Account Use

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) and able to form a binding contract to place an order. You are responsible for all activity under your email address and for providing accurate shipping and contact information. We may refuse service, limit quantities, cancel orders, or restrict access at any time for any reason we deem appropriate, including suspected fraud, abuse, or violation of these Terms, without liability to you beyond a refund of amounts actually paid for undelivered goods where required by law.

2. Site Content and Intellectual Property

All site content — including text, design, product concepts, rituals branding, graphics, logos, UI, photographs, and software — is owned by Rin Elements or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access the site for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, scrape, reverse engineer, frame, mirror, modify, distribute, or commercially exploit any part of the site or our branding without our prior written consent. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.

3. Products, Descriptions, and Availability

We strive for accurate descriptions, images, and specifications. Products, colors, finishes, dimensions, and packaging may vary slightly from what is shown. "Coming soon" items are not offered for sale until marked available. Country-of-manufacture and other claims appear only when verified on the product page; absence of a claim is not a representation.

Prices, promotions, and availability may change at any time without notice. We may correct pricing or availability errors and cancel affected orders (with a refund of amounts paid for cancelled items). An order confirmation or payment authorization does not guarantee fulfillment if an item cannot be supplied.

4. Orders, Payment, and Taxes

Orders are offers to purchase. We accept or reject offers at our discretion. Payment is processed by Stripe; you authorize charges for the order total, including shipping and applicable taxes. Prices are in USD unless stated otherwise. You are responsible for any duties, customs fees, and taxes imposed by your jurisdiction that are not collected at checkout. Title and risk of loss pass to you when we (or our carrier / fulfillment partner) deliver the goods to the carrier, except where mandatory law provides otherwise.

5. Shipping

We currently focus shipping on the United States (US). Shipping rates and estimated delivery windows shown at checkout are estimates, not guarantees. Free shipping may apply to qualifying orders above $200 as stated on the site; thresholds and rates may change. Delays caused by carriers, weather, customs, address errors, or events beyond our reasonable control do not constitute a breach. You must provide a deliverable address; failed delivery due to an incorrect or incomplete address may require repayment of reshipping costs.

6. Returns and Refunds

Unless a product page states otherwise, you may request a return within 30 days of delivery for unused items in original condition with original packaging and all included accessories. Initiate returns through our contact form (Order or shipping). Approved returns: we provide return instructions; return shipping is not charged to you for qualifying returns as described on the site, unless we determine the return is due to your error or abuse of the policy.

Returns are not accepted for:

• Items marked final sale, personalized, or non-returnable
• Used, damaged, altered, or incomplete items (other than a verified defect)
• Returns requested after the return window without our written approval

Refunds, when approved, are issued to the original payment method for the product price paid (excluding original outbound shipping unless required by law or we shipped the wrong item). Processing may take several business days after we receive and inspect the return. We may refuse or reduce refunds for items not meeting return conditions.

7. Limited Warranty

For 12 months from the purchase date, we warrant that purchased objects will be free from material defects in materials and workmanship under normal, intended use, subject to the product page and these Terms. This limited warranty is your exclusive remedy for defects and replaces all other warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law.

The limited warranty does not cover:

• Normal wear, cosmetic changes, or consumables
• Misuse, improper assembly, neglect, modification, or unauthorized repair
• Accidents, fire, water, corrosion, or outdoor exposure beyond intended use
• Commercial or rental use unless we expressly authorize it in writing

Warranty remedies are, at our sole option: repair, replacement, or refund of the purchase price. Warranty claims require proof of purchase and may require return of the item. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted.

8. Safe Use and Assumption of Risk

Certain products (including but not limited to tools, blades, burners, stoves, firestarters, heaters, and camping equipment) involve inherent risks of injury, property damage, or fire if used improperly. You are solely responsible for reading and following all instructions, warnings, and local laws; using appropriate protective equipment; supervising use; and ensuring the product is suitable for your intended use. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you assume all risk of injury and damage arising from use, misuse, or inability to use the products, and Rin Elements is not liable for injuries or damages resulting from improper use or failure to follow instructions.

9. Prohibited Conduct

You may not use the site to violate law; infringe others' rights; interfere with or disrupt the site; attempt unauthorized access; scrape or harvest data except via public search indexing of ordinary pages; submit malware or spam; misrepresent your identity; or use the site for competitive intelligence in a way that violates these Terms. We may investigate and take any action we deem appropriate, including reporting to law enforcement.

10. Feedback

If you send ideas, suggestions, or feedback, you grant Rin Elements a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, and commercialize that feedback without restriction or compensation to you. Do not submit confidential information.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

EXCEPT FOR THE LIMITED WARRANTY IN SECTION 7, THE SITE AND PRODUCTS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RIN ELEMENTS AND ITS OWNERS, DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS, THE SITE, OR ANY PRODUCT, WHETHER BASED IN CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), STRICT LIABILITY, OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS, THE SITE, OR ANY PRODUCT WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU ACTUALLY PAID TO RIN ELEMENTS FOR THE PRODUCT OR SERVICE GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted.

13. Indemnification

You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Rin Elements and its owners, directors, officers, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the site or products; (b) your breach of these Terms; (c) your violation of law or third-party rights; or (d) your negligence or willful misconduct.

14. Dispute Resolution; Arbitration; Class Waiver

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except that the Federal Arbitration Act governs the interpretation and enforcement of this arbitration agreement.

Except for claims that may be brought in small-claims court or for injunctive relief to protect intellectual property, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms, the site, or any purchase will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. The arbitration will be held in Wilmington, Delaware, or by remote means if the arbitrator permits. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court with jurisdiction.

YOU AND RIN ELEMENTS WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL AND TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS, COLLECTIVE, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION. Claims may be brought only in your or our individual capacity.

If the class-waiver provision is found unenforceable as to a particular claim, that claim (and only that claim) must proceed in court, and the remainder of this dispute-resolution section remains in effect. If the arbitration agreement is found unenforceable in its entirety, disputes will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Wilmington, Delaware, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.

15. Force Majeure

We are not liable for delay or failure to perform due to causes beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, terrorism, labor disputes, supply-chain failures, epidemics, government actions, power or internet failures, or carrier delays.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time by posting an updated version on this page and revising the "Last Updated" date. Changes apply prospectively. Continued use of the site or placement of an order after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, stop using the site.

17. General

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any order-specific terms we present at checkout, constitute the entire agreement between you and Rin Elements regarding the site and purchases, and supersede prior agreements on that subject. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them without restriction. Provisions that by their nature should survive (including IP, warranty limitations, liability limits, indemnification, and dispute resolution) will survive termination.
